Family:She doesn't know her Father, but she has a very good relationship with her Mother (Cynthia Maran). She has no siblings. She doesn't have good feelings towards her Goodparents (Tobias and Amilia Arbormill). She loves her husband (Berry Arbormill)... but not as much as a normal wife would love her husband. She loves her year old son (Dennis Arbormill) very much. Many people say she spoils him.

Phyllis has had bad luck with good luck. Things that bettered her life also make it so very much harder for her to live it. Take for instance her Mother. She had climbed up the ranks of the domestic staff of the Hodgedale family, and became head of household affairs below Lady Hodgedale. While her life began comfortably, Phyllis was expected to work from childhood in order to inherit her mother's position. Praises of just how hard she was able to work came with additional responsibilities being set on her. Every victory made it that much more likely that she would be defeated.

With her beauty came an entirely new form of bad luck. Men who came to court Enora Hodgedale, who was homely at best, would often find themselves attracted to Phyllis instead. She was forced to deny the advances of people who weilded far more power than she ever would. A certain Berry Arbormill was able to take her maidenhead after putting her in a compromising position. When it was discovered that she was pregnant, and that he was the only man who could have been responsible, Lady Hodgedale was quite offended. Lord Arbormill was forced to marry Phyllis for his indiscretion.

With her child came an entirely new form of bad luck. Her husband was a second son, and now the shame of his family. She was nobility in name only, and while she was trained in the social graces, she was hidden from the public. The family estate was her prison because her new family was too embarrassed to allow her to brandish her new status.

The testers came, and she was told she would be in attendance at Everthorne. She expects the part that's bad will be coming up sometime soon.

Like her mother she has quite a deep love of people... and a distinct cynical attitude on life in general. Her smile isn't fake; she's a social creature by nature. However once people are gone she has no reason to smile anymore. When she's alone she overthinks things, and so she strives to not be alone as much as possible. She needs people, and likes to be needed by them.

Phyllis holds herself to a high standard. She may have been kept out of the public eye for over a year, but she has maintained her regiment of beauty treatments, and daily grooming. She keeps her hair shining, her nails in perfect condition, and her face as clear as possible.
